Simon De Friend

Co-Founder

Simon co-founded Arada London, then Regal, in 1998 with friend and business partner, Paul Eden. Simon started his career in the property industry within the residential agency market and has led the business from inception to today's fully integrated business.

Jonathan Seal

Chief Executive Officer

Jonathan joined Arada London, then Regal, in 2016 as a Non-Executive Director and was appointed Managing Director in January 2017 and Chief Executive Officer in July 2020. Before joining, he spent 25 years working in law, corporate finance, capital markets and private equity.

Paul Eden

Co-Founder

Paul co-founded Regal (now Arada London) in 1998 with friend and business partner, Simon De Friend. Before establishing Regal, he had successfully built and sold a thriving residential agency. He has led the business from inception to today’s fully integrated business.

Damien Cartmell

Managing Director of Construction

Damien brings over 20 years of experience across many sectors of the construction industry. He is responsible for Arada London's in-house construction division, overseeing design, procurement and delivery of all Regal developments.

Marc Eden

Investment Director

Marc joined in 2011, bringing a wealth of investment and legal experience. Having previously worked in business development raising finance for a number of technology companies and latterly as a commercial property solicitor, he oversees Arada London’s investment and legal functions.

Ghislaine Halpenny

Director of Corporate Affairs, People & Sustainability

Ghislaine joined in 2021 with over a decade’s experience in public affairs, public relations and managing reputational challenges for the wider real estate industry. She leads Arada London's ESG strategy, all corporate communications and is responsible for EDI and culture throughout.

Steve Harrington

Planning Director

Steve joined in 2017 having previously worked as a planning consultant for over 10 years with involvement in a number of major and complex redevelopment schemes. He oversees Arada London's planning applications from the initial feasibility and pre-application stages through to securing planning permission.

Warren Swimer

Finance Director

Warren joined in 2013 having qualified as a chartered accountant. He worked for several fast growing SMEs as well as international businesses, managing finance teams across 23 offices globally. Warren is responsible for Financial Reporting and Planning at Regal alongside managing insurance, and overseeing the IT functions.
