Growing our own talent

There will be nearly 250,000 construction jobs to fill in the UK by 2025. The Academies provide our own pipeline of diverse talent for Regal Construction and our supply chain. Learners graduate with a Level 1 Diploma in construction skills, a Level 1 health and safety award and a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.

Opening our doors

We open the doors to our sites to help people better understand our industry and the myriad opportunities available throughout. Our learners gain a better understanding of the development process, and those seeking employment within the sector are introduced to our supply chain and our own teams too.

Creating positive social impact

We are determined to leave a legacy of positive social impact from the moment we step on site. Our learners gain new skills, meet potential employers, graduate with employment opportunities and most importantly, build new friendships and gain in confidence.

Our outcomes

Our learners leave us happier and more confident, more independent and more work-ready. These positive outcomes are as important to us as the £2.3m we create every year using the National TOMS Framework.

Our learners

Our learners come from all walks of life: veterans and service leavers and local people. We bring mixed groups together to learn, with the discipline and rigour of the ex-military and the varied life experience of those local to our sites.

Our supply chain

Our subcontractors across our projects meet our learners in each cohort and provide insights into their trade and the employment pathways available. We place most learners within their chosen trade, many of whom go on to work on Regal sites.

Our courses

We work closely with some of the largest colleges in London. Our learners are taught by experts in their field who help perfect their skills in painting, tiling, carpentry, brickwork and electrical. Watch this space for more news on green skills and more advanced built environment programmes!

Our team

Each cohort visit our sites with our senior construction team to learn about the projects. Throughout each five week course, our senior team are closely involved providing an overview of Regal, insights into career opportunities in the sector and interview practice to build soft skills.
