Regal
Academies
Training the next generation to join our industry.
In a first of its kind initiative, our Academies empower veterans, service leavers, reservists and their families – and local people furthest from employment too. We provide training in construction skills, retrofit and employment support at onsite in partnership with Building Heroes.
Growing our own talent
There will be nearly 250,000 construction jobs to fill in the UK by 2025. The Academies provide our own pipeline of diverse talent for Regal Construction and our supply chain. Learners graduate with a Level 1 Diploma in construction skills, a Level 1 health and safety award and a Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
Opening our doors
We open the doors to our sites to help people better understand our industry and the myriad opportunities available throughout. Our learners gain a better understanding of the development process, and those seeking employment within the sector are introduced to our supply chain and our own teams too.
Creating positive social impact
We are determined to leave a legacy of positive social impact from the moment we step on site. Our learners gain new skills, meet potential employers, graduate with employment opportunities and most importantly, build new friendships and gain in confidence.

Logistics Manager, Regal Construction
Following 18 years in the Forces I joined a Regal Academy training course in September 2022. Our instructor was excellent and we were given a great practical hands-on introduction to all the basic building trades.
I liked everyone I met at Regal and quickly sensed they were a professional, successful and expanding London based company. The whole experience was brilliant – from meeting a cohort of great, motivated fellow learners, to the inspiring and well organised teaching and ultimately being welcomed by the supportive Regal team into a fast paced, driven environment. I really feel like this is an industry in which my leadership, organisational and team skills including can be used to the full.
