Regal London Appoints Illustrious New Advisory Board

NEW ADVISORY BOARD #2

Regal London, one of London’s leading residential-led mixed-use developers, announces the appointment of a new, highly experienced Advisory Board.

The new Board will use its collective expertise to support the growth ambitions of the company, whose developments span across London. The Board is made up of four industry stalwarts: Marcus Sperber, Miles Webber, Paul Abson and Chris Shaw who collectively bring with them decades of property and real estate expertise.

Marcus has over 30 years’ experience in the property industry, most recently having spent 17 years at BlackRock as head of Global Real Estate, growing it from a UK focused business into a real estate investment manager with $25bn of assets under management. This year, Marcus established NorthCroft Capital, a property investment and advisory business.

Miles is a partner at Baytree Advisors, a corporate affairs advisory business. Prior to that, he was Group Corporate Affairs Director at Landsec from 2015 until 2019, where he was responsible for investor, media, public and government relations, sustainability and communications. Before joining Landsec, Miles spent a decade at GE as well as Merrill Lynch.

Paul brings with him 35 years’ experience across the construction and property sectors, spending 16 years growing contractor Leadbitter into a strong regional business with revenues of £440m. Paul led the sale of Leadbitter to Bouygues in 2011, following which he was appointed to the board of their new entity and in 2012 he was appointed as Managing Director of Bouygues UK residential division.

Chris is the CEO of Shaw Corporation, a firm of Chartered Surveyors, with over 35 years of experience in major property schemes and urban renewal projects across London as well as across the UK and Europe. He has also advised a number of London Borough and Housing Associations.

The calibre of our new Advisory Board is testament to Regal London’s successes to date and the scale of our ambition. Marcus, Miles, Paul and Chris bring with them extensive experience from across the property industry, which will be hugely valuable to us as we implement the next phase of our growth plans. Importantly, they also share our passion for this great city.

Over the last 20 years, Regal London is proud to have played a leading role in the transformation of London. We are committed to a strategy of further growth and value creation while ensuring uncompromising quality at our developments, targeting high quality mixed-use investments across London.
